Beyond the page

What better way to start a Wonderland adventure, than with a back yard game of croquet?

Beyond the page, illustration has a life of its own – a beginning, a middle – ever evolving, there is no end but story. The possibilities of interpretation, as unique as the illustrator, offer a connection with words and the spaces between them.

To create a D.I.Y  ‘Wonderland Croquet’ set, you will need:
flamingo pink & black acrylic paint
one permanent marker pen (for hedgehogs)
one croquet set (available in unfinished pine, with coloured wooden balls)
and a pack of cards to number your hoops (or ‘wickets’).

You will of course have to decide on the rules before you play – and have fun!
